This project has been in the works for a while, just taking up space on the internet. But here we are, so thanks for stopping by! If you’re here, you probably know who I am. But just in case you don’t, I’m Cordelia Paris (DeDe to some, and yes; Paris is my real name). I’m a 90s baby, but I’m not a 99er—I actually meet the millennial mark! I remember dial-up internet and I know the beauty of personal hotspots.

I was born and raised in NYC—Jamaica, Queens to be exact—and I have strong family ties to the South. I’d like to think that I have the perfect mix of New York grit & Southern charm.

I’m a devout Christian and a lover of all things Jesus. Without His love, grace and favor, I’m not quite sure where I’d be. 

CordeliaParis.com is more than a blog, news site or a digital résumé—it is all of that and then some. I aim to continually create spaces that hold all of my interests and my thoughts… ya know? Outside of my brain. I’m a writer and a deep thinker. I’m a visionary and a truth speaker. I’m a singer and a believer of the Gospel. I love people and I live to inspire. 

My purpose is to create hope where there is none, and when I feel fear, I use it to propel me forward. This site is a manifestation of personal affirmations, answered prayers, active faith, and constant self-discovery.
